Anthropic’s chip move is more interesting than the headline suggests
The part that jumps out to me isn’t that Anthropic is “doing chips” now. That was always coming. The interesting bit is the phrasing in the job listing: someone who has “shipped silicon,” with a “realistic relationship with schedules,” and who can make consequential calls without a giant org behind them.
