Spline’s bet is bigger than “AI can edit 3D”
What jumped out at me is not that Spline wired Claude Code into its editor. It’s that they rebuilt the whole 3D editor first, which suggests this isn’t a flashy plugin story. They seem to be betting that agentic workflows only become useful once the host app is designed around them from the start. That feels right to me.
